KB Article: How To Customize Your Offer Settings

The default offer form works for most listings, but every brokerage has its own way of running things. Offer Settings is where you tailor the submission flow to match your process, decide what’s required, what’s optional, and what data shows up on the comparison view.

Navigate To Offer Settings

From the left-hand menu of your dashboard, click Offers, then Offer Settings. You can also jump here from any listing’s offers view by clicking the gear icon in the top-right toolbar.

Set Submission Requirements

The first four toggles on the General tab decide what a buyer’s agent has to provide when submitting an offer:

  • Allow “Unrepresented Offer” Submissions — lets a buyer submit without a representing agent.
  • Allow Seller Concessions Towards Closing Costs — adds a concessions field to the form.
  • Require Proof of Funds / Pre-Approval — blocks submission until a document is uploaded.
  • Require Attorney Information — makes attorney name and contact a mandatory field.

Toggle each one on or off to match how your brokerage handles offers. Changes save automatically.

Choose Your Net-To-Seller Formula

RLTRsync calculates a Net to Seller figure on every offer so you can compare apples to apples. Pick the formula that matches how you talk numbers with your sellers:

  • Price − Commission
  • Price − Concessions
  • Price − Commission − Concessions

The selection applies to every new offer across all your listings.

Customize The Submission Form

Need to capture something specific to your market? Click + Add Question under Custom Questions to add a field to the offer form. Each question can be a text input, a number, a dropdown with your own options, or a yes/no toggle, and you can mark it required if it’s must-have.

Below Custom Questions, the Deal Sheet Template uploader lets you drop in your brokerage’s PDF dealsheet. RLTRsync auto-detects the form fields and maps them to offer data, so the PDF download for every offer comes back already filled out.

Customize Your Email Templates

Click the Email Templates tab at the top of the page to edit the pre-written messages RLTRsync sends to buyers’ agents when you change an offer’s status to Accepted, Rejected, or Countered. Each template supports placeholders like {{buyer_agent_name}} and {{listing_address}} so your name, your seller’s address, and the buyer’s details get filled in automatically.

If you ever want to start over from RLTRsync’s defaults, hit Reset on any template.
